The robot performed really well in our very first competition, and as result, we received the tournament champion. However, our autonomous did not work very well throughout the entire competition, so we were testing our robot right before every match. Our ring-collecting device worked perfectly, and made putting rings in mobile goals efficiently. Overall the lift was not strong enough and therefore needed some modification. Most importantly, this competition indeed improves our drivers’ combat awareness, and has given us an idea of what a competition is.
